These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Meta Machina LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us"). By accessing or using Rift Wars (the "Game"), the Rift Wars website, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service, create an account, or make any purchases. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not available in jurisdictions where it is prohibited by law, including but not limited to New York, Hawaii, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Russia, and China.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using Google OAuth or a Solana-compatible wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, wallet private keys, and all activity that occurs under your account. We are not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account or wallet. One account per person. Multi-accounting is prohibited and may result in permanent bans.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use cheats, bots, exploits, automation software, or third-party tools to gain unfair advantage
Harass, threaten, abuse, or send hate speech to other users
Impersonate other users, staff, or Meta Machina representatives
Attempt to access server infrastructure, databases, or admin systems without authorization
Manipulate matchmaking, ELO ratings, or leaderboard rankings
Engage in real-money trading (RMT) of in-game items outside authorized marketplace channels
Use the Service for illegal purposes in your jurisdiction

Violation of these rules may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.

4. Intellectual Property

All game content, including but not limited to card art, character designs, lore, music, code, UI design, the Meta Machina™ name, logo, and branding, is the exclusive property of Meta Machina LLC or its licensors. All rights reserved. Fan creations are permitted for non-commercial use. Commercial use of any Meta Machina intellectual property requires written approval.

5. In-Game Currency (M-Credz)

M-Credz is an in-game utility currency. M-Credz are not a security, not an investment, and not a cryptocurrency in the speculative sense. M-Credz have a fixed utility value within the game ecosystem and are not designed for financial trading, speculation, or investment purposes. When launched on-chain, M-Credz will be soulbound (non-transferable between players). We reserve the right to modify M-Credz earn rates, pricing, and functionality at any time.

6. NFT Cards & Digital Assets

Genesis Pack card mints produce non-fungible tokens ("NFTs") on the blockchain. When you mint or purchase an NFT card, you own that on-chain token. You receive a license to display and use the associated card art within the Rift Wars ecosystem and for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., social media profile pictures). Meta Machina LLC retains all underlying intellectual property rights to the art and game content. NFTs are digital collectibles with no guaranteed monetary value. 7. Purchases & Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for M-Credz purchases, Genesis Pack mints, Battle Pass subscriptions, animated portrait commissions, or any other digital goods or services. Blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature. You acknowledge that you understand the risks associated with blockchain transactions, including but not limited to network fees, transaction failures, and wallet security. You must be 18 or older to make any purchase.

8. Beta Disclaimer

Rift Wars is currently in open beta. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Features, content, balance, economy values, and game mechanics may change significantly. We are not liable for any loss of progress, data, or in-game items during the beta period. Beta progress may or may not carry over to the full release.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meta Machina LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to: server downtime, bugs, exploits, hacking incidents, blockchain transaction failures, smart contract vulnerabilities, wallet compromises, or third-party service outages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
